Schools of Sanctuary

Schools of Sanctuary is a network committed to supporting young people seeking sanctuary in the UK, creating a culture of welcome, and raising awareness of the issues faced by refugees and asylum seekers.  Schools play a crucial role in helping young people to become responsible citizens and create positive change in their communities.

Leeds Schools of Sanctuary, with the support of LCI, are hoping to encourage more schools in
the area become part of this network. 

Please pray for all schools as they provide a place of safety and welcome for children and
young people, including those from asylum and refugee families. Please pray for all that will be happening during Refugee Week, 14 – 20 June 2021 and especially for school engagement
