LCI are collaborating with Tales of a City to offer you a unique perspective on Leeds, through their tours led by guides with a refugee background.
Your tour guide will be Lilly, who is originally from South Africa. She will take you on an emotional journey – from being a South African national growing up during apartheid, to migrant and asylum seeker, to refugee (oh, and a mother)living in the UK, to now being a proud Leeds citizen.
The tour will start on the Leeds Civic Hall steps, and finish at City Square by Leeds train station. The tour will take around an hour and a half. Please be prepared for all weathers and wear comfy shoes.
