Leeds Methodist Homes (MHA)

Today we ask you to pray for the work of MHA, who work with over 2,900 people across Leeds enabling them to ‘Live Later Life Well’ through community-based services and activities.

We thank God for all who have supported us through the pandemic these last ten months. People in our schemes became sick. Some recovered and others, sadly did not. Everyone was impacted by the isolation of quarantine and shielding; not being able to mix and visit as usual. Not meeting with loved ones has been especially painful.

MHA found new ways of keeping people in contact via new technologies. We pray that we
continue to develop our Digital Communities to help alleviate loneliness and keep people connected, to live life as fully as possible, within the Covid crisis and beyond it.
