The Creative Carousel is founded in the belief that everyone can put their faith into practice through creativity.
‘Learning for a Faithful City’ is at the core of this day retreat.
Leeds Church Institute is inviting volunteers, paid workers and faith setting staff from across the city to come together, reflect and inspire each other aided by invited artists, poets and musicians.
A key take away from the Creativity Carousel will be stimulating conversations and lots of hands on creative practice.
All creative materials will be provided, with expert guidance and support.
The Creative Carousel is inspired by Christian reflection, while being of interest to people of all faiths and none, we ask you to bring along samples of creative sessions you have been tried and tested to share with the group on the day.
Who will be invited to attend?
Messy Church leaders, Youth group workers, Church family play leaders, Children’s Liturgists, Catechists, Primary school RE leads and teaching assistants, Uniformed group leaders, family ministry workers, play therapists in church settings.
All attendees will be invited to bring along a sample of creative resources or ideas they would like to share.
This event is free of charge
A vegetarian lunch will be provided. Let us know in advance if you have any dietary requirements
