If you have read any of Hannah’s weekly blog entries reflecting on the COVID-19 situation via the medium of poetry, we invite you to spend 10 minutes to ‘drop in’ and meet Hannah. Hannah would love to share thoughts and reflections of blog readers about their own lives through the lockdown and beyond, using the medium of poetry and theology.
We will send the Zoom link / Meeting ID out nearer the time.
We are delighted to have appointed Hannah as Leeds Church Institute’s Poet Theologian in Virtual Residence at the end of April.
Hannah has lived in Leeds for 30 years and in ‘normal’ circumstances facilitates a number of local poetry events within the community as well as teaching for the Open University. She has published 4 volumes of poetry since 2014 and collaborates with composers and other poets. As Hannah Hunt she was and academic theologian specialising in the spirituality of the Eastern Christian Church, from the monastic communities of the Desert Fathers onwards.
Hannah worked with LCI to offer workshop support for our And the Stones Fell Open: A Leeds Poetry Anthology.
