Ellie Harrison from The Grief Series and Vlady Diaz from Mexico joined us to talk about the Mexican Day of the Dead celebrations.

Ellie and her team visited Mexico to experience and take part in the dia de los Muertos celebrations and brought back with them photos and stories from the experience.

As part of the celebrations, Mexicans build these large ofrendas, beautiful displays that help people remember their loved ones. But more than that, it is believed that loved ones will visit their families at this time, and so ofrendas also include loved ones’ favourite food and drink so the family can eat and drink together with their loved ones.
